About Blazeboard

Blazeboard is built by Dennon Dev — a one-person operation focused on building reliable, offline-first technology for cannabis dispensaries.

The cannabis industry deserves better than cloud-dependent displays that go dark when the internet hiccups. We built Blazeboard because dispensaries need signage that just works — no cloud accounts, no per-screen fees, no vendor lock-in.

Every Blazeboard runs on a Raspberry Pi at your location. Your data stays on your network. Your displays work offline. You own the hardware and the software runs forever — even if you never pay us another dime.

Cloud features (POS sync, remote management, backups) are available as an optional subscription for dispensaries that want more. But the core product is yours to keep.

The Tech

Blazeboard is a full-stack application: a Next.js admin UI and display player, a Rust orchestrator that manages the Pi hardware, and 10 purpose-built display templates optimized for 1080p screens on Raspberry Pi.

The orchestrator is a single compiled Rust binary that handles everything: Docker management, display kiosk, health monitoring, USB drives, HDMI CEC control, OTA updates, and a terminal UI for on-device setup.
