Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a cloud subscription to use Blazeboard?

No. The Server Kit includes everything. Your displays work locally with no subscription. Cloud is optional for POS sync, remote management, and backups.

What happens if I cancel my cloud subscription?

Your Pi keeps working exactly as before. Displays stay on, admin UI stays accessible, all local features continue. You just lose cloud-only features (POS sync, remote access, backups).

Can I use my own Raspberry Pi?

Yes. Run our one-line installer: curl -sSL releases.blazeboard.co/install | sudo bash. Works on any Pi 4 or Pi 5 running Pi OS.

How many screens can I run?

Unlimited. The Server Kit drives one display on its own HDMI. Add Player Kits for additional screens — no per-screen fees.

Is there a lease option?

Yes. $39/month per Server Kit with no upfront cost. Includes cloud subscription for that location.
